Gatineau residents will be able to enjoy their public pools this summer after a tentative agreement was reached yesterday between the City and the union representing the 300 employees of the city’s aquatic facilities.
The talks, which began in 2018, bogged down due to disputes over monetary issues. The union will have nothing further to say about this agreement until members have ratified it at a general meeting on June 27.
