Jan 26, 2018 to Jan 27, 2018
Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine & Performing Arts, 15 Artists' Common, Room MW 207, St. Catharines.
Friday 6 pm - 9 pm & Saturday 9 am - 4 pm

Understanding Mental Health

Learn about mental health and mental illness, explore our own attitudes and stereotypes about mental health, and learn tools for representing members when mental health is an issue.

Creating Psychologically Safe & Healthy Workplaces

What are the psychological hazards in a workplace?   What is our role as stewards in making our workplaces psychologically healthy and safe?

In response to the health concerns of our members and staff, CUPE has implemented a Scent-Free Policy at all of our workshops.  Scented products such as hair spray, perfume and deodorant can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches.  Facilitators and participants are asked to refrain from using scented products while attending our workshops and meetings.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Directions to workshop:

Just below St. Paul Street (former Hair Cloth factory). The campus parking is not free, but public parking is free after 6 pm and on the whole weekend downtown.

Registration fee is $15 (free for CUPE 4207 members).  Please make cheque payable to Local 4207 and bring the cheque with you to the workshop.  Registration fee includes material, snacks and lunch on Saturday.

Please provide in writing by the registration deadline to Collette Calvelli (ccalvelli@cupe.ca) your cancellation request. Please ensure you provide your local number, address and contact numbers.

Note: this workshop is subject to cancellation due to low registration or other reasons.
