Parliamentary Procedure

Have you ever sat through formal proceedings at a meeting or convention and wondered what a “point of order” is? If so, this workshop is for you!  Come and learn how to participate better in union meetings and conventions.

There will be a parking fee of $5 per vehicle required upon arrival at the Univerity of Waterloo’s parking lot.

In response to the health concerns of our members and staff, CUPE has implemented a Scent-Free Policy at all of our workshops.  Scented products such as hair spray, perfume and deodorant can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches.  Facilitators and participants are asked to refrain from using scented products while attending our workshops and meetings.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Registration fee is $40 and includes material and a light lunch on Saturday.  Please make cheques payable to the Central Western Ontario District Council Education Committee and mail to Box 374, 2790 Hergott Road, St. Clements, ON  N0B 2M0

Please provide in writing to by the registration deadline your cancellation request. Ensure you provide your local number, address and contact numbers. Please note, this workshop may be cancelled due to low registration or other reasons.
