Workshop Cancellation Policy - A minimum of 10 participants is required to avoid cancellation of the workshop., , Snow Storm Workshop Cancellation Policy - The reality within the Maritimes is that it is necessary to be prepared for Winter Storms. The following is our new policy for keeping members and facilitators safe during our chaotic winters:, , Facilitators, in discussion with the Education Rep, will decide the day prior to an education session, if the workshop will be cancelled or not due to impending weather conditions. We will do our best to make this decision by noon the day before a session so that there is time to reach all participants to inform them of the cancelation. (Since most courses are a day and a half, if the first day is cancelled (6 hrs), the course will be postponed completely, and rescheduled for a future date. If the second day of training is cancelled due to weather (3 hrs), the second day will not be rescheduled.)?. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a workshop is cancelled. Participants are encouraged to check the CUPE NB or CUPE PEI Facebook pages for updates on closures. CUPE workshops will not be following public school closures, or late starts., ,

In response to the health concerns of our members and staff, CUPE has implemented a Scent-Free Policy at all of our workshops. Scented products such as hair spray, perfume and deodorant can trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches. Facilitators and participants are asked to refrain from using scented products while attending our workshops and meetings. Thank you for your cooperation.
