Before you start the series, you must complete the 9-hour Introduction to Stewarding workshop. After that, you can start taking modules in the Steward Learning Series. All the modules are 3 hours.

To receive a Steward Learning Series Certificate, you must complete:
 All modules in Section A
 At least 7 modules of your choice from Section B, including at least 3 Equality Modules (with an *)
 The modules don’t have to be taken in any particular order

Homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia play out in our workplaces, locals, and communities. Learn how to challenge these kinds of discrimination, and respectfully gender and sexually diverse members in your workplace.

SLS - Challenging racism in the workplace
May 22, 2019 (1:00pm-4:00pm) (2 spaces available)

This workshop covers what racism looks like in the workplace, and your role as a steward in challenging it.

SLS - Ally skills for stewards
May 23, 2019 (9:00am-12:00pm) (-1 spaces available)

Effective stewards are champions for human rights and equality. Explore what it means to be an ally, and ways that stewards can step up as allies in the workplace and the union.
