PEMBROKE A tentative agreement was reached over the weekend between Local 4425 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Renfrew County Housing Corporation, avoiding a strike or lockout.
The deal must still be ratified by the members of Local 4425 and the County, with the ratification vote for the Union happening this week. The County will vote on the settlement at their next council meeting in March.
