The members of CUPE Local 719, representing municipal workers in Woodstock, New Brunswick, have voted in favour of a new 4-year collective agreement.

We are pleased with this collective agreement in which we achieved our main goal, protection of the municipal workers’ pension plan”, explained Tom Steep, CUPE National Representative.

The members will also receive a wage increase of 7.5% over the length of the new agreement,” added Steep.

The members return to work on Monday after being locked out since October 1st by the Town of Woodstock.
