  • Identify barriers to equality at work and find ways to remove them.
  • Set up an information booth or a lunch-time video that promotes better cross cultural understanding.
  • Include in your union newsletter or on your local website, ethnic culture success stories. Send such stories to your local newspaper.
  • Join or support organizations that are working to build inclusive communities.
  • Learn more about racially visible people and their communities.
  • Stand with racially visible communities and speak out against hatred and racism.
  • Work with others to organize a panel discussion on anti-racism.
  • Contact public institutions and officials to encourage their support for human rights and anti-racism when an issue arises.
  • Challenge government’s racist and discriminatory policies and laws locally and globally.
