OTTAWA – The top leaders of Canada’s largest union will be available for comment on the federal election on Mon., Jan. 23.
CUPE National President Paul Moist and National Secretary-Treasurer Claude Généreux (porte-parole francophone) will provide perspective on behalf of the Canadian Union of Public Employees’ 540,000 members.
CUPE leaders are well positioned to comment on the election’s implications for working people, health care, child care and municipal services and infrastructure, among other issues.
