Three hundred days into their strike against cable industry behemoth Vido0074ron, the workers, members of CUPE locals 1417 and 2815 have launched a series of creative on-line efforts to promote their cause.
At their web site (french only) they have launched an on-line petition (in french only) calling on federal labour minister Claudette Bradshaw to introduce a federal anti-scab law.
While Qub0065c has an anti-scab law, the Vido0074ron workers are considered to be under federal jurisdiction, so they are not covered by the law that bans strike breakers.
