Thirty-three Espanola Recreation Complex workers are going back to work with wage increases for all categories, after a 13-week strike. The members of CUPE Local 4360 were negotiating their first agreement with the complex, located in the town of Espanola, near Sudbury, Ontario.

It was a long, difficult strike, but this agreement will go a long way to help us achieve parity with other facilities in Northern Ontario, says CUPE National Representative Anna Sweet.

The local represents maintenance workers, lifeguards, clerks, cleaners and rink attendants.
