VANCOUVER - Over 500 friends, family and members came to Vancouver City Hall to Rally for a fair deal for Vancouver civic and library workers.

Signs along 12th Street spelled out to all who came that Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Burnaby and North Vancouver have all been able to negotiate fair contracts with their CUPE workers, so why can’t Vancouver? Responsibility for this strike, said many, lays squarely on the shoulders of Mayor Sullivan and his NPA councillors.
