BURNABY—CUPE BC has joined with other education partners to ask Education Minister Margaret MacDiarmid to reverse budget cuts that are eroding B.C.’s public education system. In an unprecedented joint letter, from the BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils, the BC School Trustees’ Association, the BCTF and CUPE BC, the four organizations outline shared concerns about cutbacks to programs and grants that are being felt by students in schools across the province.
