Ten thousand demonstrators were on hand Nov. 20 to introduce Québec premier Jean Charest to the P3 trojan horse, at a liberal party convention in Montréal.
The Québec government has recently created a new, powerful agency to set up public-private partnerships. That, combined with the restructuring of hospitals and social services agencies last year, suggest public sector workers are in for a big fight.
The demonstration included not only union members, but also several community groups.
