Negotiators for Locals 82 and 543 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) reached tentative agreements today with their employer, the City of Windsor.

The tentative agreements follow a marathon week of bargaining with the City, assisted by a Provincially-appointed Conciliation Officer.

Details of the tentative agreement are not being released until members of Locals 82 and 543’s have had an opportunity to review the agreement and make their decision at a ratification vote, which will be held shortly.

Accordingly, there will be no further comment from CUPE until members have had their opportunity to review the proposed agreement.
