(New Glasgow) – There has been a tentative agreement reached in the strike at Summer Street Industries in New Glasgow.

CUPE National Representative Wayne Thomas says, “The outstanding issues have been resolved and the union’s Bargaining Committee will be recommending acceptance of this agreement.”

The union has scheduled a ratification meeting for Tuesday, October 11. No details of the deal can be released until that time.
