(Toronto) - Contract talks are set to resume tomorrow (October 3) in one of Torontos longest-running strikes.

Twenty-seven workers at Victoria Day Care have been on strike since June 29. The last time they sat across the table in bargaining was on July 17.

The child care workers are members of CUPE Local 2563. Victoria Day Care is one of Canadas oldest day care facilities.

The main issue in dispute is the employers attempt to eliminate the workers pension plan. Both sides will meet with a mediator from the Ministry of Labour.
