Members of CUPE Local 15, employees of the City of Vancouver and Vancouver Park Board, will vote tomorrow on the recommendations of mediator Mark Atkinson.
Atkinsons recommendations are a result of mediated talks over the past weekend, and CUPEs bargaining committee is recommending that its members vote to accept the package.
Voting will take place on Wednesday, November 15th, beginning at 9:30 am, and concluding at 7:00 pm, at the Ukrainian Community Hall, 154 East 10th Avenue, in Vancouver.
Results of the vote are expected to be known between 7:30 and 8:00 pm and will be announced at that time by CUPE Local 15 President, Rick Gates, at the Ukrainian Hall.
