In addition to our own national leaders, we will hear from Manitoba Premier Gary Doer, noted health and safety expert Dr. Linda Rae Murray, Canadian Labour Congress president Ken Georgetti, New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton and others.
An exciting “Women on the Front Line” panel will bring together Canadian women leaders and open the floor to discussion and debate on how to strengthen our union with more women leaders at all levels. Caucuses and forums take place all week, including Monday’s election forum.
This year, the CUPE Literacy Award joins the Grace Hartman Award, Health and Safety Award and CUPE Communications Awards.
