CUPE’s Aboriginal Council and its counterpart at the PSAC have launched a postcard campaign to press for substantive improvements to put paid to the federal government’s famous apology to aboriginal people.

The card, addressed to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, calls on the federal government to:

  • Honour the Kelowna Accord
  • Fix the water crisis in First Nations communities
  • Sign the UN Declaratin on the Rights of Indigenous Peopls
  • Drop the appeal against Sharon McIvor
