CUPE members from Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Durham, Sarnia, Guelph, Sault Ste. Marie, Manitoulin and Sudbury went on a solidarity road trip on Saturday, June 4, in support of striking Community Living Espanola front line staff (CUPE 2462).

The CUPE groups made a pit stop in Sudbury for a rally in front of the provincial building where they were joined by CUPE 2462 members, social justice activists, steelworkers, and OPSEU members.

Then it was back on the road to Espanola for a great BBQ and a few hours of picket line support. Special mention goes to CUPE 4392, Community Living Guelph, who brought the striking Espanola local several boxes of food donated by their membership.
