Registration is now open for the CUPE National Municipal Sector meeting taking place in Toronto on February 16-18, 2011.

This National Sector meeting is a great chance for member activists, elected leaders, and staff from every region in the country to gather together to learn from each other, to share information and strategies, and build for a stronger future together.

Municipal workers are the bedrock of our communities, providing the vital services we all count on. Come celebrate this important work and learn more about how we can strengthen public services.

Together we’ll examine how privatization and trade deals threaten public services. We’ll talk about the role of municipal governments and why who we elect matters. And we’ll shape the discussion about how we can build community through green jobs.

Come and share your experience and ideas and meet others CUPE members from across Canada who build community every day through their work.
