That the CUPE Constitution be amended to state that there shall be no borrowing from the Strike Fund by the National Defence Fund.
This recommendation is designed to further protect the integrity of the Strike Fund and to ensure that all of its income is retained for the purposes of strike pay, strike averting campaigns and interest arbitrations for locals that don’t have the right to strike.
