When Terri Beatties car stalled on her way home from a union meeting last Tuesday, she got a hand from an unexpected quarter. Terri is an activist in CUPE 3943 in Hamilton and works for the Association for Community Living.

Forced to abandon her car, she went looking for a phone when two men popped up and offered to move her car to the side of the road.

Thanking them for their kindness, Terri was told, Were CUPE members too.

The union brothers had spotted Terris CUPE logo on her jacket and while they might have lent a hand in any event, theres no doubt her being a CUPE sister helped.
