Based on advice from the Campbell Liberal government of B.C., the Resort Municipality of Whistler has decided to privatize sewage treatment. CUPE Local 2010 presented the attached submission to Whistler Council on January 9th, 2006. The submission warns of the pitfalls of P3s for water and wastewater and urges the municipality to reject use of a P3 for its wastewater treatment upgrade.
