The Campbell government is leading British Columbia down a destructive path, says a Liberal caucus member who quit over Campbells push to privatize, particularly the privatization of BC Rail.

Campbells privatization of parts of BC Hydro has already caused another caucus member to resign.

Meanwhile, as the RCMP is investigating government officials for potential corruption in connection with the sell off of BC Rail, the Campbell government is already putting prisons and the provinces real estate on the auction block.

A contract was awarded to Workspace Solutions Inc. to oversee correctional facilities and part of the governments real estate holdings starting in April. Opponents say the deal hasnt been properly debated in government circles. They also warn that private prisons in the United States have not improved security or saved money.
