MOOSE JAW: The union representing the 23 clerical and communications staff at the Moose Jaw police service reached at tentative agreement this morning with the Board of Police Commissioners.
Although CUPE members did not achieve their goal of wage parity, the settlement does provide improvements in several areas.
Members will meet on Friday afternoon to review the settlement offer and vote on it. Details will be released following the meeting.
CUPE members at the police service include communication officers, forensic technicians, administrative assistants, information system and victim services co-ordinators. They have been without a new contract for two years.
