Montreal, Wednesday, December 13, 2000 Outside and inside municipal workers in the greater Montreal area (including the North and South Shores) members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE-QFL) will be calling on both the Liberal Party and the Parti Qubcois tonight in a special activity in defence of the right to free collective bargaining, a right that is denied by Bill 170 now before the National Assembly.
Participants will be gathering for this demonstration against The Great Darkness at 4:45 p.m. at the Claude-Robillard Centre (parking lot at St-Hubert, north of Crm0061zie). Media are invited to join the caravan of buses that will be leaving the Claude-Robillard Centre at 5:15 p.m.
