HALIFAX – A tentative agreement has been reached between CUPE and the NSAHO on all outstanding issues in their contract dispute.

The deal was reached early this morning after both sides bargained over the last two days, including an all-night session that ended this morning.

No details of the agreement can be released, but CUPE’s provincial negotiating committee is recommending its acceptance.

The final hurdle in the dispute happens this Thursday and Friday when the CAW returns to the bargaining table.
