Members of CUPE 122, representing municipal and library workers with the City of North Bay, are highlighting their work in a new radio ad campaign airing this week and next on local stations.

The radio ad features the work of several different types of workers – from library workers to snow plow operators and water testers – and demonstrates how central they are to making North Bay a great place to live.

“Our members are so proud to deliver great city services in North Bay,” says Brian Phillips, president of CUPE 122. “We are an integral part of the community here, and we think this ad shows just how central our work is to the quality of life in North Bay.”

The Local has a long history of also sponsoring events in the North Bay community, and it will continue to do so this summer. Upcoming events include participating in the Nipissing Lakers’ charity golf tournament, and sponsoring a station at the North Bay Amazing Race, which will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
