NORTH BAY, ON – CUPE 4720-04, representing the AIDS Committee of North Bay and area workers, ratified their tentative agreement with their employer on Wednesday, August 26.

“The members are happy to have their first collective agreement,” said the unit’s vice-president, Kelsey Secord.  “We’re all looking forward to continue serving the North Bay and area community. We’d like to thank the North Bay and District CUPE Council, the Canadian Labour Council, and other unionized workers within the community for their support.”

CUPE 4720-04 members include social workers, outreach workers, medical professionals and others. They provide services like dispensing medications, needle exchange and retrieval, counselling and critical coordination with other agencies for people in crisis.
