One year ago on International Women’s Day, CUPE launched its National Women’s Task Force. Since then, women and men across our union have been working to fulfill its mandate: consult broadly with members on women’s equality issues and how to improve women’s particpation and representation within CUPE. To celebrate CUPE is marking March 8 with a new women’s poster that says ‘women strengthen our union’.
