Brantford — Brantford Public Library workers, members of CUPE Local 181, are moving Family Story Time to a new, indoor location. It will be held every Tuesday morning at Central Presbyterian Church, 97 Wellington Street, for the duration of the strike.
The workers have been on the picket line since September 12 in an effort to get regular work schedules for part-timers and assurances that their work will not be contracted out.
