CUPE continues to win school board representation votes in Ontario at a record pace.

Most recently, in the Niagara District Public School Board, CUPE won a close vote for the office, clerical, technical and EA unit. The vote went 239 to 220.

In the same board, CUPE was declared the bargaining agent in the custodial, maintenance unit.

Meanwhile, in points west the St. Clair Catholic District School Board (the former Lambton and Kent County School Boards), CUPE has formed an all-employee bargaining unit, with a vote that went 156 to 65 and 58 respectively for the other two unions on the ballot.
