A Quebec court has said Montreal city workers can appeal an arbitrators decision that imposed major rollbacks and ended their four-day week.

CUPE 301 had lost an initial bid to overturn the arbitrators decision. But this week an appeal court judge overturned that decision.

The union argues that the arbitrators decision unfairly sided with the employer, imposing rollbacks that will cost CUPE 301 members more than $88 million over the life of the contract.
