Moncton – Judy Darcy, CUPE National President and Claude Gnreux, CUPE National Secretary-Treasurer are in Moncton to host a town hall on privatization and public services. The open forum, entitled Stay Public! brings Monctonians from a variety of backgrounds together with CUPE members and a panel of experts to find solutions and appropriate actions to stop privatization of community services.
“Communities feel the devastating impact of privatization most directly. Monctonians are not alone in the fight for public services and community democracy. This is not just another night of talking heads, its about putting our heads together to find solutions,” says Darcy.
