Geraldine McGuire has tabled her final report to convention as National Secretary-Treasurer.

She listed clearing up CUPE’s debt – without laying off staff or cutting services – as high among her accomplishments.

And she was clearly determined that a strong strike fund would be part of her legacy. “I don’t want to see us ever being put in the position of saying: ‘sorry, you’re out of luck’ to our sisters and brothers on strike,” she said.
