Maude Barlow has published an article on rabble.ca that says the Journal de Québec lockout is all about convergence.
Barlow argues that the CRTC needs to look at the situation at the newspaper as an example of how converging media are harming journalism and freedom of expression in Canada.
Says Barlow:
Newsroom convergence has meant less relevant content, local coverage, original journalism and newsroom independence at le Journal de Québec.
