Says Edwards: “The NDP has always put main street needs ahead of Bay Street greed. And whether it’s the main street in Lindsay, or Haliburton, or Bobcaygeon, or Fenelon Falls, or Minden, or Beaverton - in every town, village and hamlet across this riding - I’ll be there to deliver our message.”

SERVING THE COMMUNITY

Edwards has been a resident and community volunteer in the riding of Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock for the past 22 years.

She has volunteered in the community as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lindsay for ten years and she has held the positions of secretary, treasurer and president. In 2005, club members were honoured with the Ontario Spirit Award for their relief efforts to the Indonesian tsunami.
