”I’d like to be able to offer them more of my time”

"What I'd like to be able to do is offer them more of my time", says Brenda Stainton of her long-term care residents. "It's not just about their physical needs, it's about emotional." Stainton feels that having more time to simply talk to the residents would make a huge difference for many of the people living in her long-term care facility.

This week, cupe.ca will profile seven residential long-term care workers who know the problems facing seniors' care in Canada, and have solutions to offer. See all of the interviews in the series as they appear.
