Thousands of CUPE members will take to the streets on Monday, June 17, in support of CUPE Local 1418. The local, which represents 13 groups of front-line professionals, including social workers will have announced the results of its strike vote earlier that day.
Rallies will take place in the following locations, from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.:

Outstanding issues are workload, wages and recruitment and retention of staff. Negotiations are set to resume June 18,19 and 20th.
