Feb 6, 2006 08:14 PM This is the January 30, 2006 brief by the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions to the Standing Committee on Social Policy of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario concerning Bill 36 ("An Act to provide for the integration of the local system for the delivery of health services"). As written, the Bill would set up Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) and give government enormous powers to restructure and privatize health care and certain social services.
