Celebrating Human Rights Activism

Attending CUPE National Convention? Join us at the Equality Forum, November 2, 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. at the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Ballroom B.

Delegates, guests, equality activists and allies are welcome. There is no fee or registration.

The forum will be thought provoking and fun. We’ll enjoy live music, reflect on CUPE equality history, and envision the next decade of CUPE human rights victories.

Featuring special guests:

Asani, a cappella trio who blend Aboriginal musical traditions with contemporary sounds of jazz, folk and blues.

Ndidi Cascade and Kia Kadiri, musicians and educators who use hip hop, spoken word, dance and other creative arts.

Sam Bradd, graphic facilitator and illustrator, creator of “recording our equality history” (in convention village).

The forum will be conducted in both official languages.

Mark your calendar and spread the word. We hope to see you there!
