The husband of former CUPE president Grace Hartman has died in hospital in Toronto. Joe Hartman died on Saturday March 9 at the age of 90.
Active in the union movement and the Communist Party, Joe was married to Grace for 59 years.
No service has been planned. CUPE will make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
