Toronto, Ont. – Jack Layton, federal NDP leader, will address over 2,000 delegates from across the country at the 2007 Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) National Convention, on Friday, October 19th at 9 a.m.

This is one of the first speeches Layton will make following the Throne Speech earlier this week.

WHERE: Metro Convention Centre, south building. Media passes at Room 704 WHEN: Friday, October 19 at 9 a.m.

CUPE is the largest union in the country with over 560,000 members from coast to coast to coast.
