The Canadian Union of Public Employees will be sponsoring a public forum this Thursday on the future of the Lower Mainland’s drinking water system.

The keynote speaker at the event will be Elizabeth May, Executive Director of the Sierra Club of Canada.

The forum is being held as part of a larger campaign by the Canadian Union of Public Employees to draw public attention to the GVRDs plan to hand operation of the regions new water filtration plant to the private sector.

The forum, which will also include questions from the public, will take place:
