Global justice committee activists joined other delegates attending the 43rd annual CUPE Saskatchewan convention as they marched through the chilly streets of Saskatoon on March 13 to protest against Bills 5 and 6.

The bills will dramatically and change the Essential Services Act and Trade Union act in the province with potential negative consequences for CUPE members.

GJ committee member Vickie Angell-Scheler, second from left, and National Executive Board liaison to the committee Fred Muzin, far right, carry the global justice banner with local CUPE members.

National Secretary-Treasurer Claude Genereux and executive assistant Robert Lamoureux are in the background. Both Genereux and National President Paul Moist appealed to about 300 delegates and guests to contribute to the national Global Justice Fund.
