Quebec City, Thursday, August 9, 2001 - The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) deplores the death of Bernard Chabot, an outside worker with the City of Quebec, who died on August 7 from injuries sustained in an industrial accident. All employees in the municipal sector join CUPEs officers in offering their sympathy to the family of the deceased.
A funeral service for Mr. Chabot will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 11, in Ste-Frano0069se-Cabrini Church, 1418 1st Avenue in Lac-St-Charles. Mourners are asked to arrive one hour early to offer their sympathy to the family.
