Air Canada flight attendants have voted overwhelmingly to accept the tentative contract reached through mediation three weeks ago.

Fully 94 per cent of the members voted in favour of the agreement which provides important improvements to pensions and working conditions, while increasing wages by 5, 4 and 3 per cent over three years.

The struggle for dignity and respect isnt over, said Pam Sachs, president of the Air Canada component. But with this contract, we have made strides forward for our members.
