It’s five wins in a row for CUPE in Manitoba’s health care votes - important momentum as the final two regions are expected to choose their unions soon. CUPE’s fifth straight win came this week in South Westman Region after the Service Employees Interna-tional Union withdrew from the race.

As a result, CUPE now represents 70 more workers who had been members of SEIU or no union at all.

It’s more good news for CUPE, which has welcomed 570 net new members through these votes.
